【速報】Surface Pro 3の11月臨時ファームウェアアップデートが配信：Wi-Fi改善やホームボタン・ペンの機能追加
11月は臨時アップデートで配信：内容はほぼ事前予告の通り
Surface Pro 3のファームウェアアップデートは、11月の月例更新日での配信が見送られていましたが、本日朝、臨時で配信されていることを確認しました。
更新内容は、おおむね"Surface in the Enterprise"ブログで事前に予告されていた通りです。詳しくは、以下の公式ページをご参照ください。

以下、アップデートの概要をまとめておきます。
UFEIのアップデートによるシステム安定性の向上、起動時間の最適化、バッテリーが3％を下回った場合の時計の正確性の維持、マカフィー社のソフトとの互換性問題の修正。
- Surface Pro UEFI update (v3.11.350.0) enhances the system stability, optimizes the boot time with fast boot enabled, and resolves date and time accuracy when the battery level falls below 3%. Also addresses compatibility with McAfee Defense Encryption 7.1.1.
将来の"Surface Hub"アプリの機能追加のためのホームボタン及びペンドライバーの更新。
- Surface Home Button driver update (v2.0.1174.0) enables future functionality for the Surface Hub app.
- Surface Pen Settings driver update (v2.5.14.0) enables future functionality for the Surface Hub app.
Wi-FiとBluetoothドライバーの更新。Instant Go状態からの復帰後のスループット向上、システム不安定化の軽減、5GHz帯などの接続性の向上。Wi-Fi関連のトラブルがいまだ続いている方は是非試してみてください。
- Wireless Network Controller and Bluetooth driver update (v15.68.3066.135) enhances Wi-Fi throughput, especially after waking up from Connected Standby, reduces instances of system instability, increases the connectivity performance and also addresses connectivity while using 5ghz DFS channel.
更新プログラムの適用はWindows Updateから行います。
手動で今すぐ適用するには、チャームの「設定」→「PC設定の変更」→「保守と管理」→「Windows Update」→「今すぐチェック」→「詳細の表示」→「インストール」でどうぞ。
また、法人ユーザー向けのzip圧縮されたパッケージはこちら。（最新版は20日朝時点では未配信のようです）
地味に、Windows 8.1 November Update Rollupも配信開始
