撤回された8月更新プログラムのうち、KB2975719など残り3つが配信再開

不具合発生により撤回された8月の更新プログラムのうち、KB2982791以外の３つが配信再開される

Windows 8.1向けに配信された8月の更新プログラムのうち、4つについては、一部で再起動後に起動不能に陥る等の深刻な不具合が発生して配信停止され、その後KB2982791のみについては差し替え版のKB2993651が8月29日に配信されていました。

本日朝、残りの3つの更新プログラムの差し替え版が配信開始されました。更新プログラムの番号は変わっていないようですが、中身は問題解決済みのものになっているとのこと。

UPDATE September 2nd: On August 15th, as soon as we became aware of a small number of customers experiencing problems with the August 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 (KB2975719), we immediately investigated and pulled the problematic update making it unavailable to download. Today, we are re-releasing this update with fixes for these known issues.

私のSurface Pro 3でWindows Updateの更新プログラムをチェックしたところ、表示されたのはKB2975719のみで、以前と変わらず「重要」ではなく「オプション」という位置づけでした。

せっかくなので適用してみましたが、特に不具合は起こりませんでした（修正版なので当然でしょうが）。

自動更新設定のSurfaceユーザーはスルーでよいかもしれません。
